Job Summary

Nova Scotia Health is seeking a skilled Radiation Technologist to join our team in the Diagnostic Imaging department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex medical imaging equipment, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and X-ray units
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety

Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiological Technology
  • Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification
  • Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP) licensure
  • Previous experience in Diagnostic Imaging is an asset
