We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team at MJ BYRNE'S IRISH PUB.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading high-performing kitchen teams, managing menus, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and motivate a team of line cooks to deliver exceptional food quality and presentation.
- Develop and maintain menus that meet the expectations of our customers and drive sales growth.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and optimize profits.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as food safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to high standards of hygiene and sanitation.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant or pub environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of menu planning, inventory management, and stock control.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
- Familiarity with local laws and regulations regarding health and safety, as well as food safety standards.
- A competitive salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
