Operations Supervisor Medical Lab Technologist III

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist III to join our team as an Operations Supervisor at Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake, B.C. This is a relief full-time position available until the return of the current incumbent. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a small team of laboratory staff, coordinating daily inpatient/outpatient activities, and providing technical guidance to lab staff.
About the Role
As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for facilitating workplace solutions, promoting continuous learning, and ensuring that policies, procedures, accreditation, and safety standards are maintained. You will also be responsible for coordinating the implementation of processes and procedures, standards, goals, and objectives.

Cariboo Memorial Hospital is a Level 2, 31 bed community hospital serving Williams Lake and surrounding communities. The hospital operates 24/7, handling over 21,000 visits per year, and offers a range of acute care specialties and allied health services. Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Medical Laboratory Technologist certification with the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) and at least three years of recent experience as a general duty technologist in a medical laboratory. You will also need to have at least one year of recent leadership experience. Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be acceptable to the facility.
