We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Laboratory Technologist III to join our team as an Operations Supervisor at Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake, B.C.

About the Role:

This is a relief full-time position available until the return of the current incumbent. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising, mentoring, and coaching a small team of laboratory staff, coordinating daily inpatient/outpatient activities, and providing technical guidance to lab staff in conjunction with Specialists and leadership.

About the Location:

Cariboo Memorial Hospital is a Level 2, 31-bed community hospital serving Williams Lake and surrounding communities. The hospital operates 24/7, handling over 21,000 visits per year, and offers a range of acute care specialties and allied health services.

Requirements:
  • Medical Laboratory Technologist with current certification with the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) and eligible for membership with CSMLS/BCSLS
  • Minimum of three years' recent experience as a general duty technologist in a medical laboratory
  • Minimum of one year recent leadership experience
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience acceptable to the facility
