We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Portfolio Delivery Lead to join our team at BMO. Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage assigned projects, ensuring timely delivery, within budget, and to the satisfaction of project sponsors.
- Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, digital innovation, and technology delivery, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide strategic input into business decisions, leveraging expertise and industry knowledge to inform project direction.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and external partners.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring effective risk management and mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and track project performance, addressing any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and lessons learned.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in project management, with a focus on portfolio delivery and project leadership.
- Valid PMP designation from the Project Management Institute (PMI) is an asset.
- Entrepreneurial skills, including in-depth judgment, learning agility, and stakeholder management expertise.
- Ability to navigate complex situations, apply project management methodologies, and manage project and business risks.
- Seasoned professional with a combination of education, experience, and industry knowledge.
- Verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, influence skills, and collaboration and team skills.
BMO offers a competitive salary range of $84,000 to $156,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement savings plans.
