Job Title: Health and Safety Advisor

NorLand Limited is seeking a skilled Health and Safety Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in fostering a culture of collaboration and active participation in health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement safety procedures in compliance with Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Regulations.
  • Collaborate with project managers and supervisors to develop site-specific Health & Safety (H&S) plans and Job Hazard Assessments.
  • Support incident investigations and ensure root causes are accurately identified.
  • Conduct regular site safety inspections and maintain workers' certifications.
  • Develop and deliver OHS training and New Hire Orientations.
  • Track leading and lagging stats, identify trends, and communicate them to the relevant operations team.
Requirements:
  • 1+ year of Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) experience in Construction / Oil & Gas.
  • Post-secondary education (degree or diploma) in health and safety or equivalent education in a related field.
  • Proven ability to achieve results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
What We Offer:

A permanent, full-time position with a typical salary range of $70,000 - $80,000 per annum. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate's competencies. As a part of NorLand's total compensation package, this position is eligible for other benefits subject to program eligibility.
