Salary Range: $123,000.00 - $196,000.00 Per Year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tax advice to business units on income tax matters and contracts review.
  • Monitor developments relating to tax incentives, accelerated depreciation for tax, and other industry-related incentives.
  • Stay current with developments in the tax area, especially ones that impact OPG.
  • Develop and maintain relationships and contacts within the external tax community to be aware of new and up-to-date tax information.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field and equivalent practical experience.
  • Professional designation (CPA), with levels I and II of the tax-in-depth courses completed.
  • At least 7-10 years of progressive experience in auditing and tax.
  • Minimum five years of experience working in the tax department of a large organization and/or experience working for a public accounting firm in the tax practice at a senior level.
