Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Coordinator to join our team at Grand River Granite LTD. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials throughout our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including tracking stock levels, monitoring inventory movements, and identifying discrepancies.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Coordinate the receipt and shipment of goods, including verifying inventory against delivery documents, processing shipments, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Warehouse Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including supervising material handlers, managing warehouse space, and ensuring compliance with safety and security protocols.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to coordinate the movement of goods and materials, including scheduling transportation, managing logistics, and resolving any supply chain issues.
  • Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of warehouse activities, including inventory movements, shipments, and other relevant data.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Windows
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced warehouse environment with a large workload and tight deadlines
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), stand for extended periods, and work in a physically demanding environment
