About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Driver-Supervisor to join our team at TYSON TRUCKING GROUP LTD. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our truck drivers and ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Truck Drivers: Oversee the daily activities of our truck drivers, ensuring they are aware of their schedules, routes, and delivery deadlines.
  • Monitor and Improve Operations: Identify areas for improvement in our operations and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage Fleet Maintenance: Coordinate with our maintenance team to ensure our trucks are properly maintained and repaired in a timely manner.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure all drivers and operations staff are aware of and comply with company policies, regulations, and safety procedures.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and development opportunities to our drivers and operations staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Coordinate Logistics: Coordinate with our logistics team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the trucking industry.
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
