Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Truck Drivers Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Flatbeds Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our trucking fleet, ensuring the highest level of productivity and product quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Problem-Solving and Technical Advice

The Truck Drivers Supervisor will resolve work-related problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.

Training and Development

The supervisor will train or arrange for training to ensure that drivers have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.

Activity Coordination

The supervisor will coordinate and schedule activities to ensure that the trucking fleet operates efficiently.

Health and Safety

The supervisor will ensure that health and safety regulations are followed, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.

Personnel Management

The supervisor will recommend personnel actions, such as promotions or disciplinary measures, as needed.

Logistics and Supply Chain

The supervisor will coordinate repairs and rentals, as well as requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies.

Supervision

The Truck Drivers Supervisor will oversee a team of 11-15 people, providing guidance and support to ensure the success of the team.

Industry Experience

The ideal candidate will have experience in the trucking industry, with a strong understanding of the logistics and supply chain processes.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

The supervisor will work under pressure, ensuring that the trucking fleet operates efficiently and effectively.

Personal Suitability

The successful candidate will possess excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to work as part of a team.
