Job Description

Pioneer on the Run is seeking an experienced Store Operations Manager to oversee the daily activities of our retail store. This is a full-time position that requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

About the Role
  • We are looking for someone with at least 7 months of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in retail or sales.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of up to 2 employees, ensuring they have the necessary training and resources to excel in their roles.
Main Responsibilities
  1. Sales Management: Assign sales workers to duties, manage cash handling, and ensure accurate reporting of sales volumes.
  2. Inventory Control: Order merchandise, authorize returns, and organize inventory to maintain optimal stock levels.
  3. Staff Supervision: Hire, train, and develop staff members, as well as provide coaching and feedback to improve performance.
  4. Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules to meet business needs while ensuring adequate staffing.
  5. Problem Solving: Resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise.
Key Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Working Conditions
  • This is a permanent position working 30 hours per week.
  • You will work under pressure, often standing for extended periods, and requiring a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
