About the Job

This is a permanent full-time position working 35-40 hours per week. We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

As a child caregiver, your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality care and supervision to children in a family setting. This includes:

  • Bathing, dressing, and feeding infants and children
  • Preparing and serving nutritious meals
  • Organizing activities such as games and outings for children
  • Supervising and caring for children, including multi-aged groups and twins

You will also be responsible for performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties, washing, ironing, and pressing clothing and household linens, and taking children to and from school and appointments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in early childhood education or a related field
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with children and families
  • Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly

You will also require current certifications in CPR and First Aid, and an Early Childhood Education (ECE) certificate.
