**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments: Administer and interpret psychological and psychoeducational assessment measures to evaluate cognitive abilities, academic skills, and socio-emotional functioning.
- Generate assessment reports: Prepare detailed reports that accurately present assessment findings, diagnoses, and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
- Quality assurance: Review and ensure the accuracy, clarity, and thoroughness of assessment reports, adhering to professional standards and legal requirements.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other professionals, such as psychiatrists, therapists, and educators, to gather comprehensive information and develop a holistic understanding of clients' needs.
- Client communication: Effectively communicate assessment results to clients, their families, and other relevant stakeholders in a compassionate and professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Education and Licensure: Be a member of the Ordre des Psychologues du Québec (OPQ) with a valid license. Alternatively, be a member of another recognized order, such as the Ordre des Conseillers et Conseillères d'Orientation du Québec (OCCOQ), and hold an attestation for "L'évaluation des troubles mentaux."
- Experience: Demonstrated experience in conducting psychological and psychoeducational assessments and writing assessment reports.
- Ethical Standards: Uphold ethical guidelines and maintain confidentiality in all aspects of work.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with clients, collaborate with other professionals, and convey information in a clear and empathetic manner.
