Restaurant Assistant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at DAYS INN BY WYNDHAM SYLVAN LAKE. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staff Management: Supervise and motivate a team of staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
  • Operations: Plan and organize daily restaurant operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff scheduling.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, respond to customer complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory and Supplies: Manage inventory levels, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of food and other supplies.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and promote a culture of safety among staff.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
