Restaurant Operations Manager Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at DAYS INN BY WYNDHAM SYLVAN LAKE.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor staff performance to ensure high-quality customer service and efficient restaurant operations.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff scheduling.
  • Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to meet customer demands.
  • Ensure compliance with provincial and territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to secure the best prices.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to maintain a positive reputation for our restaurant.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field.
  • 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
