Job Title: Restaurant Assistant Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at 2ND WIND BREWERY AND EATERY. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate daily operations and implement improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff scheduling.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff.
  • Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff to improve performance and achieve goals.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities to increase revenue and build relationships.
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote the restaurant and increase sales.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead a team and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff scheduling.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve operations and increase revenue.
