About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at 0964447 B.C. Ltd. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of food service staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and kitchen staff.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure excellent performance.
  • Operations Management
    • Establish and implement efficient systems and procedures to meet work schedules and ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to maintain optimal levels and prevent waste.
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Financial Management
    • Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates to ensure profitability and efficiency.
    • Monitor and control expenses to maintain optimal levels.
  • Security and Safety
    • Ensure that all staff are aware of and adhere to security and safety procedures and protocols.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and address potential hazards.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the food service industry.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced restaurant environment.
    • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Security Clearance
    • Basic security clearance.
