About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Accounting Manager to oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial regulations and be able to monitor policies and procedures for assigned departments, identifying areas for improvement and suggesting solutions.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Complying with federal, state, and local financial requirements by studying existing and new legislation and maintaining compliance.
  • Developing staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships.
  • Overseeing and supporting timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close, including assigned journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and overall maintenance of all operational management accounts.
  • Maintaining efficient General Ledger accounting and Procure-to-Pay systems.
  • Providing financial perspective and advice to management team.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Preparing special financial reports as requested by management by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
