About the Role:
Tosa Inc. is seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our team. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking sushi dishes to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Estimate and manage food costs, consumption, and inventory.
- Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, and presentation of food.
- Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff.
- Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership and dependability.
Work Environment:
The Sushi Chef will work in a restaurant setting, supervising a team of 5-10 people. The ideal candidate will have experience in Japanese cuisine and sushi preparation techniques.
What We Offer:
