About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Asset and Supplier Strategist to join our team at Desjardins Group.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing IT suppliers and assets, leading practitioners on business relations and cross-sector strategic projects. Key responsibilities include delivering reports on IT assets and suppliers, advising on strategic projects and initiatives, working with teams to draft technology requirements, and assisting with negotiations.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive reports on IT assets and suppliers.
  • Help asset owners renew major IT agreements.
  • Support asset owners with new IT acquisitions.
  • Advise on strategic projects and initiatives.
  • Work with teams to draft technology requirements.
  • Help develop policies and standards.
  • Represent the unit before committees and external partners.
What We Offer

In exchange for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary of approximately $120,000 per year, plus annual bonus opportunities. You will also enjoy flexible vacation time, a defined benefit pension plan, group insurance, and health and wellness expenses reimbursement.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in supplier management or asset management.
  • Experience in executive reporting.
  • Knowledge of French.
  • MS Office tools proficiency.
  • Knowledge of contract law and supplier management laws.
  • Data analysis expertise.
  • Interpersonal Savvy, Strategic mindset.
