About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Construction Assistant to join our team at Goldleaf Construction Inc. As a key member of our crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as required
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction and help medical examiners as needed
  • Erect walls and build roofs, and assist in framing houses
  • Pave and rake asphalt, clean and pile salvaged materials, and remove rubble and debris
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
Work Environment

As a Construction Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and physically demanding tasks. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a variety of locations.

Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
