Job Description

s.s.w construction Ltd is seeking a skilled Construction Assistant to join our team. As a Construction Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting skilled tradespersons with various tasks on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload and transport construction materials
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
  • Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications
  • Assist in demolishing buildings
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
Requirements
  • Physically demanding
  • Handling heavy loads
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
Work Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling. The candidate must be physically fit and able to handle heavy loads.
