Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit Construction Assistant to join our team at Goldleaf Construction Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in various aspects of construction, including framing, loading, and unloading materials, and performing tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as required.
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction and assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Pave and rake asphalt, clean and pile salvaged materials, and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, as needed.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in construction or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in various weather conditions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment

Our construction sites are located in various locations, and you will be required to work at different sites as assigned. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
