Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit Construction Assistant to join our team at Goldleaf Construction Inc. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for assisting in various aspects of construction, including framing, loading, and transporting materials.

Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Help medical examiners in charge with various tasks.
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction.
  • Pave and rake asphalt.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in construction or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physically demanding work requiring handling heavy loads.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week.
Work Environment

Our construction sites are located in various locations, and you will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be working with a team of experienced construction professionals, and we are looking for someone who is a team player with excellent communication skills.
