About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Pembina Vapes. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales floor staff, ensuring they are meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
    • Train and develop staff to improve their skills and knowledge, and to ensure they are equipped to handle customer inquiries and sales.
  • Merchandise and Inventory
    • Order and manage merchandise, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and that products are displayed in an attractive and appealing manner.
    • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that stock is accurately counted and that any discrepancies are investigated and resolved.
  • Sales and Customer Service
    • Assign sales workers to duties, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet sales targets.
    • Authorize returns and exchanges, ensuring that customers are satisfied with their purchases.
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
    • Manage cash and other financial transactions, ensuring that all financial procedures are followed accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail management role
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks effectively
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 30 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced retail environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
