Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales floor staff, ensuring they are meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
- Merchandise and Inventory
- Order and manage merchandise, ensuring that stock levels are optimal and that products are displayed in an attractive and appealing manner.
- Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that stock is accurately counted and that any discrepancies are investigated and resolved promptly.
- Sales and Customer Service
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive sales growth and increase customer engagement.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
- Reporting and Administration
- Prepare and submit reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Manage cash and maintain accurate records of sales and inventory.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail management role
- Skills and Abilities
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Flexibility and adaptability
This is a permanent, full-time position, working 30 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods and working under pressure.
