Care Team Assistant, Perinatal Centre

We are seeking a skilled Care Team Assistant to join our interdisciplinary care team at the Perinatal Centre. As a member of our team, you will collaborate with RNs, LPNs, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care to patients and their families.
The successful candidate will provide direct and indirect care services, including supporting the work of our healthcare team members and contributing to a safe and supportive environment for patients and families.
Your Qualifications- Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
- Graduate from an approved Continuing Care Assistant program and Provincial Continuing Care Assistant Certification required.
- Active registration with the mandatory Continuing Care Assistant Registry required.
- Current successful completion of a CPR Level C Health Care Provider or Basic Life Support (BLS) course required within the last 12 months.
- Previous healthcare experience is an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team and to accept direction and supervision.
- Demonstrated professional and mature manner.
- Must have effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated judgment, problem-solving skills and strong decision-making ability within the scope of employment.
- Demonstrated initiative within the scope of their employment.
- Competency in other languages an asset.
