Job Summary: Care Team Assistant required to provide direct, hands-on care to patients and support their activities of daily living in a collaborative care team environment.

About the Role

The Care Team Assistant will report to the Health Services Manager and work under the supervision or direction of regulated health professionals. The successful candidate will provide direct, hands-on care based on the needs of the patient and program/unit, supporting patients' activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living.

Requirements
  • Continuing Care Assistant Program
  • Provincial Certification with Department of Health and Wellness
  • Current Basic Life Support Certification
  • Demonstrates effective listening skills
  • Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
Working Conditions
  • Permanent Part-time; 37.5 Hours Bi-weekly
Compensation and Benefits

$23.71 - $25.70 hourly
