At 019981 Hub International Ontario Limited, we're seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Employee Benefits Sales Advisor. As a key member of our sales team, you'll play a vital role in driving business growth and delivering exceptional client experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Market Development: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities for our Employee Benefits and Retirement division, leveraging your expertise to build strong relationships with clients and prospects.
  • Client Leadership: Develop and execute targeted initiatives to engage with firms with over 100 employees, understanding their unique benefit needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Product Mastery: Stay up-to-date on the latest Employee Benefits and Retirement products, ensuring you offer the most relevant and effective solutions to every client.
  • Cross-divisional Synergy: Collaborate with our Property & Casualty teams to achieve mutual cross-selling goals and drive business growth.
  • Visionary Planning: Work closely with senior management to set goals and ensure alignment with our company's broader ambitions.
  • Sales Analysis & Strategy: Regularly review and refine your approach, leveraging team insights to drive continuous growth and improvement.
  • Building Trusting Relationships: Prioritize and nurture relationships with clients, prospects, and industry partners, fostering a culture of trust and collaboration.
  • Integrity in Action: Uphold the highest standards of compliance and ethics, ensuring responsible origination practices and a strong reputation for our company.
  • Team Alignment: Stay in sync with regional leaders to ensure a unified approach to new business acquisition and drive business success.

Requirements for Success:

  • Valid LLQP License Required; holding or working towards relevant Employee Benefits designation an asset (i.e., CEBS, GBA, etc.)
  • 3+ years of directly related Employee Benefits and Retirement industry sales experience
  • Deep understanding of the Canadian insurance landscape, including knowledge of Employee Benefits and Retirement industry trends, carrier products/services, and market trends
  • Proven experience in new business origination, paired with a strategic mindset that sees beyond the immediate sale
  • Natural aptitude for forging and nurturing long-lasting relationships with clients, prospects, and industry partners
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team, valuing and contributing to shared successes
  • Eagerness to stay updated on the ever-evolving insurance products, market trends, and regulatory changes
  • Proficiency in articulating complex Employee Benefits and Retirement concepts in a clear and compelling manner to varied audiences
  • Capacity to analyze sales data, spot trends, and pivot strategies accordingly
  • Firm commitment to uphold the highest levels of professional ethics, ensuring compliance and trust in every interaction
