About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Benefits Associate to join our team at Gallagher. As a key member of our client service team, you will work closely with client managers to provide exceptional service support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation of new groups, including gathering and reviewing enrollments, and participating in implementation calls to monitor the process.
  • Provide support to analysts on renewals, including gathering reports, preparing administrative policies, and data entry.
  • Peer review non-refund experience reports prepared by the Gallagher Service Center and send to clients.
  • Prepare specialty renewals, including AD&D renewals, and complete requests for amendments, including updating client booklets and pricing plan design management.
  • Support analysts on marketings, including completion of employee census, and investigate complex inquiries that come in from clients but cannot be resolved by the carrier's Client Service Representative.
  • Have input and involvement in client service programs and development of metrics that support our client service model.
  • Input into drafting client materials, including Benefits at a Glance and Employee/Client Presentations.
  • Maintain internal client management systems and participate in generating awareness for benchmarking survey and run benchmarking reports.
  • Understand and speak knowledgeably about Gallagher Better Works.

About You
  • 2+ years of experience in group benefits, including client service, plan administration, and benefits analysis.
  • Successful completion of CEBS, GBA, Life License, or similar designations.
  • A consistent track record of solving complex client challenges through analytical and creative problem-solving, while navigating potentially difficult conversations.
  • A high level of comfort managing client groups of a wide variety of sizes and levels of complexity.
  • Hands-on renewal experience is a definite plus.
