Our Business

We operate multiple food and pharmacy stores, Angry Otter liquor stores, feed mills, bulk petroleum facilities, restaurants, and gas station/convenience stores. Our goal is to provide a range of products and services to support our member-owners and build, fuel, feed, and grow Western Canadian communities together.

The Role

We're seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team at the Parallel Food Store. As a key member of our team, you'll provide excellent service to guests in a courteous and efficient manner, process orders accurately, and balance cash tills daily. You'll also contribute to living our Corporate Values of Integrity, Community, and Excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests
  • Process transactions efficiently and accurately
  • Balance cash tills daily
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Previous experience in retail operations is an asset
  • Lotto and/or Food Safe certification is an asset
  • Strong math skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to a safe work environment
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, afternoons, and evenings
