Job Title: Unit Secretary
North York General Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Unit Secretary to join our dynamic team in the Critical Care Unit. In this role, you will provide administrative support to the unit, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing excellent customer service to patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Coordinating interdepartmental activities and requests
- Representing physicians and healthcare professionals through screening and triaging incoming calls and inquiries
- Maintaining accurate attendance and time reporting information
- Supporting clinicians with system order entry functions
The ideal candidate will have a medical office assistant certificate or equivalent experience, with a strong background in medical terminology and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
