At Lyft, our vision is to revolutionize the way people move around the world. We're looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our Rider team in shaping the future of transportation.

This role is a critical part of our data science team, where you will work closely with product, design, engineering, business, and operations stakeholders to drive data-driven decisions and drive business growth. As a senior data scientist, you will leverage advanced analytical techniques and machine learning algorithms to uncover insights and opportunities that drive business impact.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and architectures
  • Designing and executing experiments to drive business impact and measure effectiveness
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into actionable decisions and drive business growth
  • Developing and maintaining metrics and dashboards to track business performance and rider experience

Requirements include:

  • 6+ years of industry experience in a data science or analytics role
  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, economics, applied math, operations research, or engineering
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with data science libraries in Python or R
