About the Role:

Cineplex is seeking a highly skilled Data Science Leader to join our Data Insights & Monetization leadership team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering industry-leading data science capabilities to optimize the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and evolve the Data Science vision, strategy, and roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Act as the Data Science and Machine Learning subject matter expert with a deep understanding of models/algorithms, data architecture, business processes/operating models, as well as technology integrations to deliver value for the organization.
  • Establish a Data Science Community of Practice within Cineplex to facilitate the sharing of standard models and capabilities, best practices, and emerging industry-leading innovation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor/Master's in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related technical specialty.
  • 7+ years' experience in data science with demonstrated experience of delivering impactful solutions into operational processes.
  • 3+ years' experience of managing a team of data scientists.
  • Experience in data cloud technologies (i.e. Azure, Databricks, Snowflake).
