Freight Forwarding Supervisor

FREIGHT MASTERS LOGISTICS INC. is seeking a highly skilled Freight Forwarding Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our freight forwarding services.
Key Responsibilities- Logistics Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of our freight forwarding department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of logistics coordinators, providing guidance and support to ensure that they have the necessary resources to perform their duties.
- Client Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that their needs are met.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews to ensure that team members are meeting their performance goals.
- Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with other departments to ensure that our supply chain operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as logistics, supply chain management, or business administration.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain management role.
- Certifications: Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFFA) Certificate.
- Personal Qualities: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
