About the Role

FREIGHT MASTERS LOGISTICS INC. is seeking a highly skilled Freight Forwarding Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our freight forwarding services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment and Machinery Management: Ensure the proper functioning of computer equipment and machinery, and implement measures to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Problem-Solving and Technical Advice: Resolve work-related problems, provide technical guidance, and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and product quality.
  • Training and Development: Train workers in duties and policies, and conduct performance reviews to assess employee performance.
  • Work Coordination and Scheduling: Coordinate, assign, and review work tasks, and establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
  • Materials and Supplies Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support operations.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Qualifications: Possess a Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFFA) Certificate.
  • Personal Qualities: Demonstrate excellent oral communication skills, strong judgement, and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced logistics environment, with a 40-hour workweek and a focus on client satisfaction.
