Food Service Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Akropolis 5 Inc. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Food Preparation
Direct and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Train and Develop StaffTrain staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that they are meeting the required standards.
Inventory ManagementEstimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Quality ControlEnsure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Reporting and AdministrationPrepare and submit reports on food service operations, and maintain accurate records of food order summaries for the chef.
Culinary KnowledgeHave a thorough knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres, and be able to provide guidance and support to staff on menu planning and preparation.
Tray Assembly and DeliverySupervise and check the assembly of trays, and ensure that food is delivered to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
Work SchedulesEstablish work schedules for staff, and ensure that all staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees- Participation in Community Programs
Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
Support for Youths- Participation in Youth Employment Programs
Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment.
Support for Indigenous People- Participation in Indigenous Support Programs
Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people.
Work Term: Permanent
