Retail Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Brand Manager to join our team at ONroute. As a Brand Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail brands, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and schedule day-to-day operations to deliver sales and budgeted targets
- Execute ordering and inventory processes to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize waste
- Hire, train, coach, and develop a high-performing team, including Health & Safety protocols
- Deliver brand, audit, and customer service standards, ensuring compliance with franchise requirements
- Act as Manager-in-Charge when the General Manager or Associate General Manager is not present, ensuring the overall needs of the plaza are met
You will be accountable for inventory levels, delivering budgeted food cost targets, and ensuring accurate data in the inventory management system. You will also be responsible for training, coaching, and managing food cost on the floor daily with your team.
Brand, Audit, and Customer Service AccountabilityYou will be responsible for ensuring all team members are trained to deliver results that meet or exceed brand, audit, and customer service standards. This includes franchise audits, MTO Audits, Mystery Shop, Health Department, MOL, Employment Standards Act Ontario, and EcoSure.
Team and Health & Safety AccountabilityYou will be accountable for hiring, training, coaching, and developing your team, including communicating clear performance expectations and providing feedback. You will also be responsible for scheduling and achieving labour targets, ensuring proper coverage and customer service at all times.
Manager-in-Charge AccountabilityWhen the General Manager or Associate General Manager is not present, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall needs of the plaza are met, including working collaboratively across all brands and ensuring compliance with ONroute and governmental standards, regulations, and policies.
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, and Competencies- Requires 3-5 years of experience as a Supervisor or Manager in high-volume food and beverage or merchandise operations and/or other related management experience
- Experience with POS Systems, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to lead by example and dedicated to training, coaching, and developing your team to deliver results
- Demonstrated exceptional customer experience focus
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills with excellent communication skills and approachability
- Sound operational experience and knowledge within the fast-food/food service industry
- Must have reliable transportation to get to and from the plaza
