We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at K5 FLOOR & TILE LTD. as a key member of our installation team.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare surfaces to be covered by measuring, marking, and cutting tiles to fit.
- Mix and apply adhesives, mortars, and other materials to ensure a strong bond between tiles and surfaces.
- Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power tools.
- Pack and remove excess grout from joints between tiles.
- Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles to maintain a high-quality finish.
- Build underbeds and install anchor bolts, wires, and brackets to support tile installations.
- Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite tiles to meet customer specifications.
- Estimate costs and materials for tile installations to ensure accurate pricing and efficient use of resources.
- Mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces to achieve a high-gloss finish.
- This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Employees in this position will be required to bend, crouch, and kneel frequently to complete tasks.
- Attention to detail is crucial to ensure high-quality tile installations.
- We are looking for a reliable and accurate individual with a strong focus on client satisfaction.
- Experience in the tile installation industry is preferred, but not required.
- A team player with excellent communication skills is essential for success in this role.
