Tile Setter

K5 FLOOR & TILE LTD. is seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for preparing, measuring, and marking surfaces to be covered with tile. You will also mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using a hand trowel. Additionally, you will prepare rough plans and sketches, cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools, pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout, remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles, build underbeds and install anchor bolts, wires, and brackets, cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite, and estimate costs and materials. You will also mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces. The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field. The work conditions and physical capabilities required for this role include being physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling, and having attention to detail. The personal suitability required for this role includes being accurate, client-focused, reliable, and a team player. The work term is permanent, and the work language is English. The hours of work are 40 hours per week.
