We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at K5 FLOOR & TILE LTD.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, measuring, and marking surfaces to be covered with tiles. They will also mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using hand trowels. Additionally, they will prepare rough plans and sketches, cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings, and pack grout into joints between tiles.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare surfaces for tile installation
- Mix and apply adhesives
- Cut and fit tiles
- Pack grout into joints
- Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
- Build underbeds and install anchor bolts, wires, and brackets
- Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite
- Estimate costs and materials
- Mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- Permanent employment
- English language proficiency
- 40 hours per week
The job requires physical demands, including bending, crouching, and kneeling. Attention to detail is essential for this role.
