We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at K5 FLOOR & TILE LTD.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, measuring, and marking surfaces to be covered with tile, as well as mixing, applying, and spreading mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using a hand trowel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces for tile installation, including measuring and marking walls, floors, and ceilings.
  • Mix and apply adhesives, mortars, and other materials as required.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools.
  • Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout.
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
  • Build underbeds and install anchor bolts, wires, and brackets.
  • Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite.
  • Estimate costs and materials for tile installation projects.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in tile setting or a related field.
  • Permanent employment with 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a physically demanding environment, requiring bending, crouching, and kneeling. Attention to detail is essential for this role.
