Restaurant Operations Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Just jerk Caribbean restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Methods to Meet Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient scheduling systems to ensure timely food preparation and service.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities of Staff: Oversee the preparation and portioning of food, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Train Staff in Job Duties: Provide comprehensive training to staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate Ingredient and Supplies: Accurately estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Maintain high-quality food and service standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns.
Work Environment:

Our fast-paced environment requires a physically demanding individual who can work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.

Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Work Setting: Food service establishment.
  • Supervision: 1 to 2 people.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and physically demanding work.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, initiative, and dependability.
