We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join our team at Bison Transport. This is a full-time position responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and year-end consolidated financial statements that are presented to executives, owners, regulatory bodies, and other financing parties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of financial statements and working papers;
  • Analysis and review of results to support commentary;
  • Drafting commentary for various statements and reports submitted to stakeholders;
  • Maintenance of accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures;
  • Participation in the year-end audit of Corporate financial results;
  • Coordination with subsidiaries to ensure timely reporting.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Chartered Professional Accounting (CPA) designation;
  • Experience with current IFRS developments;
  • Exceptional attention to detail and business acumen;
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and use sound judgment;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • An initiative-taker with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills;
  • Knowledge of Great Plains and the transportation industry considered an asset.
