SalaryThe estimated annual salary for this position is around $95,000-$115,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our accounting group, you will be responsible for providing high-quality financial reporting services to our clients. This includes preparing and reviewing financial statements, working papers, and other reports as required.
Your primary focus will be on ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of client financial information. You will also provide guidance and support to junior staff members and collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals.
This role requires a strong understanding of Canadian accounting standards, including IFRS and ASPE. You should have excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications- 3+ years of experience in financial reporting or a related field
- Completed undergraduate degree in accounting or a related field
- CPA designation (or equivalent) an asset
- Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting standards (IFRS, ASPE, NPO, and Public Sector)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Interpersonal relations and teamwork skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Microsoft Excel skills required
