Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities
  1. Consult with clients and stakeholders to define project controls, ensuring quality and compliance.
  2. Draft and manage contracts for consultants, specialists, and contractors, including endorsements, amendments, and change orders.
  3. Oversee consultant services, including drawings, specifications, supervision, and work acceptance.
  4. Attend site meetings with professionals and subcontractors to ensure project alignment and resolve issues.
  5. Monitor project costs, manage change orders, and supervise all site activities.
  6. Contribute to the development and updating of project schedules and participate in contract negotiations.
  7. Manage customer and subcontractor payment requests, review shop drawings and samples, and address technical questions related to plans and specifications.
  8. Monitor and resolve conflicts during BIM project execution and ensure effective handling of project deficiencies and amendments.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in construction project management, with a heavy focus on ICI developments.
  • A minimum of 2 completed, full-cycle industrial projects is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple multi-million dollar projects efficiently.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with project management software and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Preferred: Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, with PMP certification or similar being a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of OBC.
