About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Construction Assistant to join our team at Raven Concrete Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Operations: Assist in the loading, unloading, and transportation of construction materials, ensuring timely delivery and efficient use of resources.
  • Material Handling: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, adhering to strict quality control standards.
  • Site Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and piling salvaged materials, to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Equipment Operation: Assist in the operation of equipment such as concrete vibrators, grinding machines, and drills, ensuring proper use and maintenance.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our construction team to achieve project goals, providing support and assistance as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work outdoors, at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty environments.
  • Work Setting: Urban area, construction site.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Construction Specialization: Residential, poured concrete.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Concrete vibrators, grinding machines, drills, hand tools.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Reliability, team player, hardworking.
