About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Construction Assistant to join our team at Raven Concrete Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the construction site.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing the construction site by leveling earth to fine grade specifications.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain various construction equipment, including concrete vibrators, grinding machines, and drills.
  • Task Completion: Assist in completing various construction tasks, such as mixing, pouring, and spreading materials like concrete and asphalt.
  • Site Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance work to ensure the construction site is safe and clean.
  • Debris Removal: Remove rubble and other debris from the construction site.
  • Site Safety: Assist in maintaining a safe working environment by following all safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handle heavy loads, and work at heights.
  • Personal Qualities: Reliability, team player, and hardworking attitude.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Outdoors, at heights, confined spaces, noisy, and dusty.
  • Work Setting: Urban area, construction site.
