About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Construction Assistant to join our team at Raven Concrete Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Operations: Assist in the loading, unloading, and transportation of construction materials, ensuring timely delivery and efficient use of resources.
  • Material Handling: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, adhering to strict quality control standards.
  • Construction Support: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, demonstrating a strong understanding of construction techniques and safety protocols.
  • Site Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance work, including cleaning and piling salvaged materials, to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate concrete vibrators, grinding machines, drills, and hand tools, ensuring proper usage and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work outdoors, at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty conditions.
  • Work Setting: Urban area, construction site.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to handle heavy loads, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet tight deadlines.
