Irving Shipbuilding Inc. is seeking a **Project Specialist, Supply Chain**.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: University bachelor’s degree in business administration or engineering
- **Experience**:
- 2-5 years project management
- Lean/Sigma Greenbelt or Project Management Certifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to influence and others from all levels of the organization.
- Proven experience leading and facilitating small and large project teams to accomplish a common goal.
- All successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)._
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Coordinate and managing multiple projects in line with supply chain strategy.
- Execution of projects using project management methodology (Lean Six Sigma, agile, traditional waterfall, etc)
- Employee change management practices where necessary to ensure over all proper adaption and implementation of projects.
- Communicate project updates to key stakeholders.
- Support implementation of new systems
- Planning (includes risks, resources, work, and people planning)
- Closing out of the project and operationalize improvements.
